%X The article emphasizes the application of debriefing or critical incident stress debriefing (CISD) to manage moral distress in nurses. Moral distress affects the work performance of nurses. Debriefing is an event-processing session that can be conducted by a counselor, professional peer or a therapist. Each session of a CISD program is composed of eight process, namely introduction, gathering information, generating reaction, symptom phase, stress response, stress management recommendation, incident phase and referral.
