Abstract:

The article discusses the program Artists-in-medicine (AIM) for nurses developed at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. It aims to reduce stress and reconnect the basic principle of nursing profession in providing compassionate care to their patients. Furthermore, it explores their creativity through massage, yoga, art, music, and writing for nurses to establish emotional and spiritual intervention with their patients, and fellow healthcare workers to gain job satisfaction.
